This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Wristivo collects when you visit wristivo.com or place an order with us, why we collect it, how we protect it, and what choices you have. We have written it in plain language on purpose — if anything is unclear, write to us and we will explain.

The short version

· We collect only the information we need to take your order, deliver it, and support you afterwards.

· We never sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

· We use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how people use our store and to show relevant ads.

· We do not store your card numbers. Payments are either Cash on Delivery or handled by a licensed payment gateway.

· You can ask us to show, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing us.

Wristivo ("Wristivo", "we", "us", "our") is an online watch retailer operating in Bangladesh at https://wristivo.com. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy (in legal terms, we act as the data controller).

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information, depending on how you interact with us:

· To accept, confirm, pack and deliver your order, and to send you order and delivery updates by SMS, WhatsApp, email or phone call.

· To arrange delivery through our courier partners and to follow up on failed or returned deliveries.

· To handle exchanges, returns, and warranty claims within the stated warranty period.

· To detect and prevent fraudulent, fake, or abusive orders.

· To answer your questions and resolve complaints.

· To operate, maintain and secure the website, and to fix technical problems.

· To understand which products and pages people are interested in, so we can improve our range and content.

· To show you relevant advertising on Google and Meta platforms, and to measure whether those ads work.

· To send marketing messages where you have agreed to receive them.

· To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and to respond to lawful requests from authorities.

4. Our legal basis for processing

We process your personal data only where we have a valid reason to do so:

· Performance of a contract — we need your details to deliver the product you ordered.

· Legitimate interests — preventing fraud, securing our website, and improving our service, where these do not override your rights.

· Consent — for marketing messages and for non-essential cookies. You can withdraw this consent at any time.

· Legal obligation — keeping invoices and order records as required by Bangladeshi law.

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them to keep your shopping bag working, remember your language preference, keep your session secure, and measure how the site is used.

7. Marketing messages

We send marketing messages (new arrivals, offers, restock alerts) only if you have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any SMS or WhatsApp message to opt out. Order confirmations, delivery updates and warranty messages are service messages and are sent regardless, because they are part of fulfilling your order.

· Card details are never stored on our servers; online payments are handled by a licensed gateway.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we ever become aware of a data breach that affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

10. Your rights

You have the right to:

· Know what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.

· Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.

· Ask us to delete your data, where we are not required to keep it by law.

· Ask us to restrict or stop certain processing, including marketing.

· Withdraw consent you previously gave, at any time.

· Complain to us, and to the relevant authority in Bangladesh, if you are not satisfied.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@wristivo.com with the subject line "Data Request" and the mobile number or email address you used to order. We may ask you to verify your identity first. We aim to respond within 14 days.

11. Children's privacy

Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has placed an order or shared information with us, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Where your data is stored

Our website and order records are hosted on servers used by our hosting provider. Some service providers — in particular Google and Meta — may process data on servers located outside Bangladesh. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer for international data transfers.

13. Links to other websites

Our site links to our Facebook and Instagram pages and may link to courier tracking pages. Those websites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information. We encourage you to read their policies.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new payment method or a new analytics tool. The revised version will always carry a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will also notify you by email or with a notice on the website.
